This is a gentle, affirming coming-of-age story that explores identity, belonging, faith, and family. It centres the experience of discovering and expressing a gender identity beyond traditional expectations, and the courage it takes to live authentically.

About Jenny
I'm Jenny Porter. I grew up the eldest of six in rural Victoria, where belonging was the anchor that tethered me to place and people. It was built every day by showing up for each other.
That understanding of family, commitment, and the courage to seek out purpose has shaped who I am and how I see the world.
My debut novel, The Space Between, follows a young woman caught between who she's been raised to be and who she's finally ready to become. It's a story about identity, love, and the quiet courage it takes to stop pretending.
